This is my meditation on the nature of Divine Revelation, and the many human finger prints which give it shape and texture. Through the Bible, and other texts we can begin to "descry" as Tolkien might put it, a face in the clouds or in the waves--one that is transcendent and yet undeniably a person. We lean into diverse traditions, experiences, and reason to encounter this Presence.
