Deep & Turbulent

36x36 acrylic on canvas, diptych. This piece evokes different vibes for different people. The original title, "Deep and Turbulent" gave me a sense of cold depth and strong currents in the Puget Sound, near my home in Western Washington. For others it created a sense of foreboding.

The collector who finally brought it home said, "I really love both the movement in the pieces and how calming they feel at the same time. They're already inspiring a whole new feel for our living space."
